Let me tell you who you are

it is so hard to be a high school student. for everyone, high school is a confusing time because you are trying to figure out who you are, what you like to do, who you’d like to date, and on top of all that you have the tremendous stress of school. here is some useful insight into who the Lord knows you are. every bit of this information is true because it came from the one who knows nothing but truth.

you are a child of God -john 1:12

you are a friend of Christ -john 15:15

you were bought with a price&belong to God -1 corinthians 6:19-20

you are complete -colossians 2:10

you have direct access to the throne of grace through Jesus -hebrews 4:14-16

you are confident that God will complete the good work he has started in you --philippians 1:6

you are God’s workmanship -ephesians 2:10

you are united with the Lord -1 corinthians 6:17

you are forever free of condemnation -romans 8:1-2

you cannot be separated from the love of God -romans 8:35-39

you are assured that all things work together for your good -romans 8:28-19

you were crucified with christ, you are no longer a slave to sin -romans 6:6

you are a temple for the Holy Spirit -1 corinthians 6:19

you are righteous in Christ -2 corinthians 5:21

you are free in Christ -galatians 5:1

you are alive in Christ -ephesians 2:4-5

you are chosen -1 thessalonians 1:4

all of these truths and we still battle with self-confidence… crazy right? if the one who created us believes that we are worth dying for, why would we spend our speck of a life on earth trying to please others when we can spend our whole existence trying to make our Lord known?
